Description
The Angelus prayer comes from the 12 th century and is a devotion that commemorates the Incarnation and includes the “Hail Mary.” Farrell has composed a chant-like setting that captures the mystery of the Latin text. The organ accompaniment adds a halo of sound around the long chant lines.
