Gloria

Description

An exuberant exclamation opens this “Gloria”, giving the musical and spiritual character as well as the thematic material for both opening and closing sections of the work. Frequent meter changes and lively syncopations are combined to create a rhythmic electricity. The organ accompaniment is full of vigor and is complementary to the choral parts, using to the fullest the tonal palate of the organ and the abilities of the organist.
