Description
An exuberant large-scale work with jaunty syncopated themes and a reflective central section on the chant, “Victimae Paschali.” Conceived for a large instrument, but the composer has included alternative registrations for a smaller organ.
Composer’s Note:
Easter Alleluias was conceived for a 3- or 4-manual organ with a powerful solo reed such as a Chamade or a lively Tuba. It is, nevertheless, possible to play this piece on a modest 2-manuel instrument: simply follow the alternative manual directions in parentheses.
