Description
Raymond Herbek continues his popular series of arrangements with this setting of the melody “Paradise” from the colorful opera, “Prince Igor” by Borodin. Each phrase is built up gradually and richly with the use of relatively few bells. The piece crescendos to a stirring section with the melody in octaves, and then tapers gradually to a peaceful close. “Paradise”, with its religious connotation, would be appropriate for the worship service or in concert.
