Psalm 91

Written in a contemporary style, Ball’s interpretation of Psalm 91 is thoughtful, sober and hopeful. This was written for the victims of the Orlando shooting of June 2016 and includes accompaniment for piano. Certain parts of the text are highlighted by changes of harmony and the voices, mostly homophonic, are moderate in range. The long lines illumine the meditative nature of the piece.
