Description
In its second edition (2012), The Parish Book of Chant is “a manual of Gregorian chant and a liturgical resource for Scholas and Congregations.” The volume includes the order of sung Mass for both Ordinary and Extraordinary forms of the Roman Rite, in side by side Latin and English. It also includes a complete Kyriale, along with chants and hymns for occasional and seasonal use and for feasts of the Blessed Virgin Mary with their literal English translations. Finally, a helpful guide to singing the chant and a pronunciation guide for liturgical Latin is included. This resource is ideal for parishes who wish to use both forms of the Roman Rite.
