Voluntaries on Quem Pastores and Love Unknown

This set of organ voluntaries comes from popular composer Robert Lind who has already provided organists with several wonderful sets of hymn-tune variations. Here he turns his attention to two quite different tunes, giving each a distinctive and colorful setting. “Quem Pastores” delights with its dance-like rhythms and charming harmonies, while “Love Unknown” is rich and satisfying with long phrases and attractive lyricism. The writing lies well for the hands and feet and gives plenty of opportunity for color for both small and large organs.
