This easy setting is in English, has no Credo, but includes a two-page movement, “Christ Our Passover.” All movements have congregation parts on the back cover for duplication. The Kyrie has both Greek and English texts for performance, but the other movements are entirely in English. (Note that in these reviews when Latin is indicated for text, it includes the use of Greek for the Kyrie.) The chordal organ part keeps a steady pulse, which provides a comfortable background for the lyric, melismatic lines of the voices. The descant line is used sparingly in all movements but one.
