More familiar tunes from a composer and performer highly respected in America. The opening “Fantasy on Nun Danket All” is a bold essay on the tune…..I thought “Ritournello on Liebster Jesu” was the best of them, but all are good.
Julian Elloway, Church Music Quarterly
November 2005

The setting of “Nun danket” is a fantasy with brilliant effects which would be a nice piece for a festive service. The setting of “Schonster Jesu” places the melody in the pedal with a four-foot flute and lush harmonies using strings on the manuals. Overall, the music is interesting, and the registrations will work on many instruments.
Richard A. Konzen, D.M.A., Journal of the Association of Anglican Musicians
March 2005
