Lenten Suite: These Forty Days

Robert Lind’s “Lenten Suite: These Forty Days” is based upon the three famous Lenten hymns – “Lord, Who Throughout These Forty Days”,  “Forty Days and Forty Nights”, and “The Glory of These Forty Days” – making it extremely useful throughout Lent. Each piece is set in a direct contrapuntal style, maintaining an aural simplicity appropriate to the texts. These pieces make excellent preludes and are not difficult to perform.
