This piece from The Song of Songs was written for the choir Gloriæ Dei Cantores’ 25th anniversary. After a brief opening statement, the work is set in a lilting 6/8 “Come my beloved…” which is followed by a more resolute “Set me as a seal…” The work ends in the spirit of the opening. Its harmonic demands make it appropriate for advanced choirs.
