O Come, O Come, Emmanuel
C. Griffith Bratt
This setting of Veni, Veni Immanuel aims at capturing the 13th century monastic mood in a contemporary setting. The use of unison and organum with areas of two-part harmony helps to set the medieval character of the music. The organ accompaniment adds contemporary quality. Although composed for treble voices, male voices may also be used.
