It is fitting that this work, written in celebration of the 50th reunion of the 1964 graduating class of the Crane School of Music, SUNY, Potsdam, be composed by Crane’s current Dean. With flowing and graceful melodic lines that vary in voicing between unison and four-part polyphony, the text of Psalm 84 is brought to life in this beautiful anthem.
