Description
Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child/Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen
Dale Adelmann
Dr. Adelmann uses subtle chromatic harmonies within middle and lower vocal registers to magnify the emotion in these texts. The melody in each spiritual is sung first by a baritone soloist , then by the choir. As the work is drawn to a close, the two spirituals are combined in duet featuring both an alto and baritone soloist accompanied by the choir.
