Charles Stanford wrote much great church music and here we have his magnificent Service in B-flat arranged for SATB and organ by composer Stuart Forster. Having all of Stanford’s gifts of melody and harmonic interest along with Forster’s talent of arranging for organ, this brings a “new” work to the Evensong service.
