Description
Hal Hopson has been known for decades as a church musician and composer of integrity and creativity. This present piece is a lovely example of his lyrical style, having a rich sound from eight vocal parts and in the introspective key of B-flat minor. There is a great variety of harmony and a sensitive underlining of the text (Psalms 141 and 139). A superb anthem for Evensong and Compline services.
