In this setting taken from Psalm 69 (“Save Me, O God”), Lind artfully unites the suppleness of Gregorian chant with his own characteristic harmonies to create appropriate illumination for this scripture. The timbre of the youth choir also vocally highlights the purity inherent to both the text and music.

A counter tenor or light falsetto voice is suggested in certain places.
