Richard Busch’s gift of melody is most evident in this sensitive of an early Christian text. Set in the harmonically rich key of G-flat, each verse develops the opening material with melodic and harmonic variations. The phrases are long and have an attractive sense of inevitability about them. The voice ranges are quite comfortable, while giving each voice aa chance to shine.
