Description
Composer Jon Simsic has provided a worthy anthem here on texts by Bernard of Clairvaux in both English and Latin. This a cappella motet is reminiscent in form to Renaissance models, but in its key scheme and chromaticism is squarely twentieth century. This will be a grateful challenge to advanced choirs.
